Chief Kw'eh: Community
This month, we’ve been invited to Nak’azdli Whut’en Territory, in Fort Saint James to learn about community and history through the lens of Chief Kw’eh’s life story.
Join us for our Chief Kw’eh: Community program to learn about Chief Kw’eh’s life and story from Indigenous knowledge holders, how he influenced the lives of the Nak’azdli Whut’en people, and why stories like his are important to learn about and share!
We’re excited to be in partnership with School District 91 Nechako Lakes for this program. And we look forward to learning from experts and Indigenous knowledge holders Lillian Sam (Nak’azdli elder), Dennis Cumberland (Chief Kw'eh knowledge holder), and Carla Martin (Dakelh language & culture teacher and Nak'azdli knowledge holder) in the Feature Show that will premiere on November 24th.
