You don’t need to be a scientist to be part of the climate change solution!

Climate change can bring a lot of anxiety to kids (and grown-ups). We want to show them that they can be a part of the solution. It’s not just scientists who can help!
In our new program, we are exploring climate change, what makes it such a difficult problem to solve and how our communities can be part of the solution.

In our Feature Show on May 20th, we’ll meet inspiring people who are working within their community to bring positive change. Join us and discover how collaboration and innovation can lead the way!

We’ll interview Alison Cretney, the Managing Director with the Energy Futures Lab. Then we’ll go to Nelson, BC, where we’ll meet Steven Cretney who is part of NESTlab, a social innovation lab based in Nelson that works on collaborative climate solutions. And finally, we’ll explore what a city can do about climate change with Rik Logtenberg, a representative from the City of Nelson!

Our teacher resources will be available on Monday, May 10
Our Feature Show will air on Thursday, May 20 at 10am PST in English and 11am PST in French!

As always, if you can’t make the launch time and LIVE Q&A, you can always “relive” the show later at your own convenience!
