It's Wolf Week....inspired by Takaya

In partnership with Cheryl Alexander, Live It will bring families across BC and Beyond Wolf Week inspired by the life of Takaya. Students and families will learn all about wolves, their habitat and what made Takaya the lone wolf, so remarkable.  Starting June 1st, whether learning from home or the classroom, students can tune in every day at 11am for wolf-related art and science activities.

“Before the pandemic, I visited classrooms to speak with students about wolves and Takaya's remarkable life. It was delightful to see such incredible interest and student engagement with Takaya's story.” says Alexander. “These experiences inspired me to partner with Live It to bring Takaya's story to more students across BC and beyond. Takaya's story inspires children to learn more about the role of apex carnivores in our world, to care about wildlife and to protect our precious wilderness.”
