Fungi: Forests

Last month we explored the depths of our seas, and this month brings a change of scenery – from sea to land!

Join us for our Fungi program to learn all about the Fungi Kingdom, how vital they are to the environment, and, how we can grow our own “wild” mushrooms!

For this program, we’re excited to be learning from experts Andy Mackinnon (MSc, DSc and co-author of six guidebooks to BC plants and fungi) and Robin Mercy (owner and operator at Mr. Mercy's Mushrooms, a certified-organic seasonal mushroom farm in Kaslo BC).
